  • 1/2 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1/4 oz maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus more for garnish)
  • Cinnamon-sugar rim (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Glass: If desired, rim your glass with cinnamon sugar. To do this, run a lime wedge around the rim and dip the glass in cinnamon and sugar.
  • Mix the Margarita: In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, apple cider, fresh lime juice, triple sec, maple syrup (if using), and ground cinnamon. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain and Serve: Strain the margarita into the prepared glass filled with ice cubes.
  • Garnish: For a festive touch, garnish with a slice of apple and a cinnamon stick. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top for extra flavor.
  • Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy the rich fall flavors of The Perfect Fall Margarita!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more or less maple syrup.
  • For an extra autumn vibe, consider using a spiced apple cider.
  • If you prefer a smoky flavor, swap the tequila for mezcal.
