- Fill a dish with warm water, and then submerge a wrapper for 3 seconds to soften it. It shouldn’t stay in the water for too long. Two shrimp halves, mint, cilantro, lettuce, and some vermicelli should be placed on the wrapper. All of these should be spread out throughout the wrapper’s middle.
- Next, fold the uncovered side, inversely, and roll the wrapper, starting at the end, with the lettuce. Ensure the wrapper is tight. Do this for the remaining ingredients and wrapper.
- In a small bowl, combine the water, lime juice, garlic, sugar, chili sauce, and fish sauce. Combine the peanuts and hoisin sauce in a separate bowl.
